Grantee will not receive any cash as part of SUCH grant, nor is the right to installation in any way exchangeable for the cash value thereof. In order to use the ALERT software (WHICH shall INCLUDE ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE) and any Bundled Products, Grantee will be required to pay certain monthly fees. There may be other costs associated with the use of the ALERT software (OR ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE) and any Bundled Products. Among other costs, Grantee will be required to have APPLICABLE EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM and may also need to purchase a PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT SYSTEM (depending upon whether they select this component of alert plus) AND/OR a separate workstation for the ALERT software (OR ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE) to use the ALERT software (OR ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE). SUCH ITEMS may be obtained from a third party. There will also be certain recurring costs for Grantees to use the ALERT software (OR ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE), such as monthly maintenance fees. Also, if alert plus is selected, there MAY be a one-time fee associated therewith. In addition, Grantees will be required to undertake certain actions to use the ALERT software (OR ALERT PLUS, IF APPLICABLE), including, without limitation, e-mapping, camera photo plotting, room numbers, and other activities.
